Bharat Browser, which has been launched by a Bengaluru-based start-up called Blue-sky Inventions, is a handy browser-based on Android Application. It is lightweight and it weighs just 8.2MB. It aims at providing regional content on low-cost Android smartphones available in the country.Users can also watch videos in the Videos Section and play games within the Games section of the app. Additionally, the newly launched browser has a special section dedicated to kids. The company behind Bharat Browser says that the app offers the latest trending news in 9 major Indian languages
Jio Browser, the latest app by the telecom giant is now available for Android users via Google Play. Developed by Reliance Industries, the browser app is touted to be a ‘fast and lite’ solution for Web browsing. The Jio Browser app has a home screen that displays news content and the latest updates. The Jio Browser lists news from categories such as entertainment, politics, and sports. You can also check out the videos tab on the browser to watch videos while on-the-go.
4.Say Namaste / Jio Meet
Everybody knows about Zoom. It is a video calling app that is widely used for online meetings. On the other hand, it was in the news for issues regarding data security. Instead of zoom, we can try out a few Indian video calling apps as Jio meet. If you are a Zoom user, then you will adjust to JioMeet easily as it has a similar interface. Say Namaste, Airtel blue jeans, Webkonf are other Indian alternatives to apps like Zoom.

Jio Meet, after testing for months Reliance Jio has finally launched JioMeet in the country. The JioMeet app is available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. With JioMeet, Reliance Jio is undoubtedly aiming to take on the likes of other video calling platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, Microsoft Teams, among others. JioMeet offers an unlimited number of free calls in high definition (720p) to users and supports as many as 100 participants on a call.
But interestingly, it appears to not impose a short time limit on a call’s duration. Jio Platforms says a free call can be uninterrupted for “up to 24 hours” long.
5.Kaagaz Scanner

This app has claimed over 1 lakh downloads within one day of CamScanner being banned and is presently seeing considerable interest on the Google Play Store.With an abundance of low-cost data, Hike decided to go from a single super app strategy to a multiple app approach, so that it can focus more on the core messaging capabilities.
6.Hike Messenger / Elyments
Hike Messenger is also called Hike Sticker Chat, is an Indian freeware, cross-platform instant messaging (IM), Voice over IP (VoIP) application which was launched on 12 December 2012 by Kavin Bharti Mittal and is now owned by Hike Private Limited. Hike can work offline through SMS and has multi-platform support. The app registration uses a standard one-time password (OTP) based authentication process.
From version 6, the user-interface was revised and the app no longer supports features like news, mobile payment, games, or jokes. As per CB Insights, $1.4 billion is the valuation of Hike with more than 100 million registered users till August 2016 and 350 employees working from Bengaluru and Delhi.
